EI fire resistance of double-leaf sliding gate
We offer double-leaf sliding gates in various fire resistance classes. The EI resistance class means that the door retains its properties (fire resistance, tightness and thermal insulation) for a certain period of time, which can be 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, respectively.

Properties of the fire sliding gate
A fire sliding door is an effective solution that provides protection against the spread of fire, temperature and radiant heat. Fire sliding gates are a good solution wherever there is enough space for the door leaves.

Construction of a double-leaf fire sliding gate
A fire sliding gate consists of two door leaves, a running track unit, a ballast unit and a wall stop.
The door leaf is made of special fire-resistant panels. In the upper part of the gate there are elements of the running system. The door leaves are hung on a rail.
The runway assembly is made of steel rail, secured with steel cover elements.
How a sliding gate works
The sliding gate leaves are suspended in the running rail and held open thanks to the use of an electromagnetic holder connected to the control unit.
If smoke or temperature detectors detect a fire hazard, the control panel or the central fire alarm system cuts off the voltage from the electric handler, slows down the counterweight and causes the door to close by gravity.
Application of double-leaf fire sliding gate
Fire sliding gate can be installed both in newly built buildings and in existing buildings, inside and outside, ensuring full safety for people and property.
They are used as horizontal movable partitions separating passages between fire zones in accordance with current fire regulations. They work well in places where there is enough space on both sides of the opening needed to install the gate.
They are successfully used in public buildings, production and industrial halls, or underground garages.
