Our company has EPDs for many products, including GSF KPR EI fire curtains, GSF KPR Smart EI fire curtains, GSF KPR E | EW fire curtains, GSF BP sliding gates and GSF KDS fixed smoke curtains and GSF KDR mobile smoke curtains.
All our products meet the requirements of European and national standards, guaranteeing the highest level of fire safety. We apply the following standards:
Product standards:
- PN-EN 16034:2014-11Doors, gates and openable windows - Product standard, performance properties - Properties related to fire resistance and/or smoke tightness
- PN-EN 13241+A2:2016-10 Gates - Product standard, performance characteristics
- PN-EN 12101-1:2007 Smoke and heat control systems - Part 1: Technical requirements for smoke curtains
- PN-EN 14351-1+A2:2016-10 Windows and doors - Product standard, performance characteristics - Part 1: Windows and external doors
Extension standards that allow the application of test results in the field of, for example, larger door dimensions:
- PN-EN 15269-11+AC:2019-05
- PN-EN 15269-7:2010
- PN-EN 15269-1:2019-07
- PN-EN 15269-20:2021-02
Classification standards:
- PN-EN 13501-2:2023-09 Fire classification of construction products and building elements - Part 2: Classification based on the results of fire resistance and/or smoke tightness tests, excluding ventilation system
- PN-EN 12424:2002 Gates - Resistance to wind load – Classification
Testing standards:
- PN-EN 1634-1+A1:2018-03
- PN-EN 1634-3:2006
- PN-EN 1363-1:2020-07
- PN-EN 1363-2:2001
- PN-EN 1364-1:2015-08
The test standards define the methods of testing the fire resistance of various building elements, including our gates and curtains.
Standard for wind loads:
- PN-EN 12444:2002
The standard defines the requirements for the resistance of structures to wind loads.
Standards for mechanical cycles and strength:
- usage category (number of operating cycles) PN-EN 16034:2014-11
Our fire doors are manufactured in accordance with the highest standards of the implemented Factory Production Control System, which is subject to certification by Accredited Product Certification Centres. The products are certified in accordance with the above-mentioned harmonized standards, which means that they meet the requirements for fire resistance, durability of self-closing and smoke tightness. In addition, they are subject to additional testing in accordance with extension standards, which allows them to be used in various configurations and conditions. As a result, our products provide effective fire protection and meet the highest safety standards.
By applying these standards, we can guarantee that our products are durable, safe and comply with all applicable regulations. Our doors are resistant to fire, smoke and high temperatures, which ensures the safety of people and property in the event of a fire.
CE Declaration of Conformity
The CE mark is a European mark of conformity, a declaration by the manufacturer that the product meets the essential requirements of European Union directives or regulations concerning health, safety and environmental protection, as well as standards harmonized with these legal acts.
The CE marking confirms that a product has undergone conformity assessment and meets the requirements applicable to it, allowing it to be legally placed on the market in the single market of the European Economic Area (EEA).
The CE mark informs users that a product has an appropriate level of safety and has been correctly placed on the market.
Environmental EPD
An EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is a verified and registered document that provides transparent and comparable information on the environmental impact of a given product throughout its life cycle – from the extraction of raw materials, through production, transport, use, to disposal or recycling (the so-called LCA – Life Cycle Assessment).
The main goal of EPDs is to provide objective and reliable environmental data that allows you to compare products from the same category and make informed purchasing decisions, taking into account sustainability criteria. In the context of construction, EPDs play a key role in the environmental assessment of buildings and obtaining sustainable building certifications (e.g. LEED, BREEAM). The EPD contains detailed quantitative data on various environmental indicators, such as m.in.:
- greenhouse gas emissions (carbon footprint): the amount of greenhouse gases emitted, expressed as carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e)
- energy consumption (primary and renewable): the amount of energy consumed over the life cycle of a product
- water consumption: the amount of water used in manufacturing processes and other stages of a product's life cycle
- air and water pollution: emissions of pollutants into air and water
- waste generation: the amount of waste generated at different stages of a product's life cycle.
In conclusion, we offer a wide range of fire protection products that are designed and manufactured with the highest quality and safety in mind. Thanks to the use of the latest standards and technologies, our products meet the most stringent requirements and are an ideal solution for facilities requiring special fire protection.
