Fire resistance class EI:

Features of the vertical fire gate
A vertical fire gate is an effective solution that protects openings in walls and provides protection against the spread of fire and smoke. A vertical fire gate works well when we have a high lintel over the opening to which we want to mount the gate.
Advantages of the EI vertical gate:
- possibility of making the gate in large sizes
- possibility of making a double-leaf vertical telescopic gate
- colours as standard: RAL 9010 white, RAL 7035 light grey, RAL 9002 grey, RAL 7016 anthracite
- high quality and aesthetics
Construction of the EI vertical fire gate
The vertical fire gate is made of fire-resistant panels mounted on special ropes, two side guides and an electric holder. The gate leaf is made of fire-resistant panels. On both sides of the opening there are guides on which the gate moves.

How a fire vertical gate works
The gate leaf is kept open thanks to the use of an electromagnetic holder connected to the control unit.
If smoke or temperature detectors detect a fire hazard, the control panel or the central fire alarm system cuts off the voltage from the electromagnetic holder, slows down the counterweight and causes the gate to close by gravity.
The gate leaf can also be released manually with a special button or manual call point button.
Application of a vertical fire gate
Vertical fire gate can be installed in both new buildings and existing buildings, indoors and outdoors. They are a very good solution wherever there is insufficient space on the sides of the opening and high lintel. They are used as vertical movable partitions separating passages between fire zones in accordance with current fire regulations.
They are installed in public buildings, production and storage halls, or underground garages.
